 | Associate Professor Nick Santamaria, head of the Hospital in the Home program at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, will manage the clinical evaluation of the Mobi-Drip infuion device. A/Prof. Santamaria has extensive experience of the commercialisation pathway for medical devices having conceived and developed the Alfred/Medseed Wound Imaging System (AMWIS) in 1999. Having guided this product through clinical trials it was launched commercially by the Victorian Government Health Minister in 2002. AMWIS won the Baxter/AHA National Healthcare Innovation Award in 2002 and is the first Australian digital wound imaging system and is widely used in wound care research and clinical practice across Australia. |
 | Paul Peterson has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Newcastle and certificates in Mechanical Engineering and Refrigeration/Airconditioning. He has a wide range of technical expertise and experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects for industrial research in both commercial and academic institutions. Paul has worked for over fifteen years as a design and development engineer providing essential design, development, specialised technical information, support and maintenance services on numerous research projects. His work has encompassed everything from prototypes and pilot plants, to the complex processes, systems and instruments involved in laboratory equipment. Paul is a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia, The College of Mechanical Engineers and is a Chartered Professional Engineer.
Paul has been employed for 15 hours per week to assist Ian Clarke on prototype engineering functions. |
 | Jon Pryer is the proprietor of Neo Industrial design and will design the external Housing for the Mobi-Drip infusion device. Jon is currently the Head of the Industrial Design department of the Newcastle University and has vast experience in the design of commercial products. |
 | Peter Hester is the proprietor of MEDesign, a medical engineering and design business in Sydney. He will act as advisor and design engineer for the components of the disposable infusion line for the Mobi-Drip. Peter has extensive commercial experience, including time as the Production Engineer at Tuta Laboratories in Sydney. |
 | Richard Kaan is the proprietor of Kaan Consultancy. He will coordinate and record the Market Analysis data from Australia and USA. Richard has had extensive management experience in a wide range of industries, with technology transfer, consultancy, banking, IT and FMCG prominent. He was Head of Unisearch Ltd (University of NSW) until forming Kaan Consultancy. |
